Top Notch Training

I haven’t worked out in a long time, is it a good idea for me to begin working out in a boot camp or signing up for personal training?

A. Yes! Our boot camps and one on one personal training allows for the trainer to assess your abilities. Before you begin a program with us the trainer also ask for basic background information such as fitness goals, medical history, and your previous workout history. This allows for the trainer to properly assess our clients and recommend a program suited just for you.

Do I need to consult with my doctor before starting a workout session?
This depends solely on your past medical history and your own comfort level with working out. Generally, unless you have been advised by a physician in the past to limit physical exercise, there should be no problems. As always, if there is any concern make sure to consult your doctor before working out.
Will my fitness goals be reassessed as I progress with personal training routines?

Yes. We consistently evaluate our clients to make sure fitness plans are tailored to their needs. Group Boot Camps are preset routines that are designed to challenge participants of any fitness level.

How often do I need to meet with a personal trainer or attend boot camps to see results?

This question is answered simply by saying, the more often the better. By giving your personal trainer the opportunity to work with out more frequently, you can expect results to be quicker. Attendance at Group Boot Camps is similar, the more often you go the better results you will get. Of course there are a variety of factors that can impact your frequency of visits such as your current fitness levels and you desired fitness goals.

I’m told I’m a healthy weight for my age and height but I still don’t feel in shape. Can your programs help?
Absolutely. Remember, weight isn’t everything when it comes to overall wellness and fitness. We can help you with the appropriate training and diet plan to get you feeling fit again.
How long will it take to see results?

This varies based on a number of factors that are client specific. Speaking generally, you can expect to see subtle changes in the first few weeks with weight loss and increased stamina and energy. After 6 to 8 weeks of training we will reassess where you stand as you will have seen significant results, as long as you stick to the agreed upon training regime and dietary plan.
